Advanced Steel Drum Band

This course will act as a continuation of the Intermediate Steel Drum Band class. In addition to the techniques and styles taught in the introductory classes the students will be introduced to a more advanced repertoire which will also include improvisation.

Participation in a public performance at the end of each semester will be required.

Open to: Grades 9-12 Term: 2 sem
Credit: 1 unit (Fine Art Credit)

Prerequisite: Beginning Steel Drums & Teacher Approval

Pay to Particpate: $50 will be charged for instrument use plus a one-time uniform cost of $20.

Performance Attire: Ensemble T-shirts or polos are provided at cost
