The Martha Surnbrock Christopher ‘44 Writing Center
The Writing Center is available to all students who need assistance, given on an individual basis, with their writing. Students may be referred to the lab by their teachers, schedule an appointment or just walk in. The center is open to all students in grades 7 though 12.
The Center, located in room 3301, is open during school on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30 AM– 2:30 PM. It is also open after school on Wednesday and Thursday until 3:30 PM.
Funded by the Alumni Foundation, the Center is staffed by Dr. Cindy Carlton-Ford, who holds a PhD in English, Terry Cheeseman, a retired WHHS English Faculty member, and both parent and peer volunteers.
