2025-2026 Walnut Hills Entrance Exam Testing Schedule

Saturday WHEE testing for NON-CPS students in grades 6-10

OR

CPS enrolled students in grades 7-10

Students must earn qualifying scores on the CPS administered Iowa Assessment to be eligible for enrollment.  Exam Registration will open Tuesday, August 5, 2025 for testing in the 2025-2026 school year. Students who test in the 2025-2026 school year and earn qualifying scores will be eligible for Walnut Hills High School enrollment in the 2026-2027 School Year. Students may test twice per school year.

In-School WHEE testing for CURRENTLY enrolled CPS sixth grade students

Eligibility for CPS 6th grade students to Walnut Hills High School is determined by their national percentile rank scores from the iReady Reading and Math assessments. Sixth grade students take iReady assessments in the Fall and Winter, giving all students two chances to qualify for Walnut Hills High School.
