2024-2025 Walnut Hills Entrance Exam Testing Schedule
Students must earn qualifying scores on the CPS administered Iowa Assessment to be eligible for enrollment at Walnut Hills High School.
In-School WHEE testing for currently enrolled CPS sixth grade students
All sixth grade students currently enrolled in Cincinnati Public Schools will have two opportunities to take the Walnut Hills Entrance Exam at their school of enrollment during the school day. All 6th grade students will take the Walnut Hills Entrance Exam in the Fall. If students do not receive qualifying scores during the Fall opportunity, families will have the opportunity to sign their student up to participate in an optional, second opportunity at their school of enrollment during the month of January. Information on how to sign students up for this retake opportunity will be provided when the student’s scores are sent home from the Fall testing opportunity.
*Currently enrolled CPS 6th grade students will not test on Saturdays.*
Saturday WHEE testing for NON-CPS students in grades 6-10
OR
CPS enrolled students in grades 7-10
Exam Registration will open Tuesday, September 3, 2024 for testing in the 2024-2025 school year. Students who test in the 2024-2025 school year and earn qualifying scores will be eligible for Walnut Hills High School enrollment in the 2025-2026 School Year. Students may test twice per school year.
