Congratulations to the National Merit Scholarship Finalists!

Twenty-three students at Walnut Hills High School have been named National Merit Finalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program. Congratulations to

Adham Atwan, James Baur, Elliott Brandicourt, Jane Carnesi, Kaden Clark, Ambrose Corless-Smith, Reilly Curp, Angelo Geis, Henry Hattemer, Emma Herzig, Lila Herzig, Katherine Hilton, Peter Kelly, Ziyin Liu, Raj Logue, Shubhra Mishra, Yousuf Munir, Ajai Nelson, Rafael Ramirez, Ethan Schnettler, Evelyn Wheatley, Annie Xia and Andrew Ying.

A Certificate of Merit from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented to these scholastically talented seniors.

About 15,000 Finalists throughout the nation, out of over 1.5 million students who took the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Approximately 7,500 Finalists will be selected based on their abilities, skills, and accomplishments to receive a Merit Scholarship award.
