Biography

Elizabeth (Liz) Lloyd joined the Walnut Hills High School Visual Art staff in 2019. From Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Lloyd earned her B.A. in Art Education with a minor in Art History from College of Mount St. Joseph (2011), now Mount St. Joseph University, and M.A.Ed Teacher as Leader with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education from Northern Kentucky University (2017). Before joining the Walnut Hills visual art faculty, Mrs. Lloyd taught a variety of visual art courses both beginner level and advanced at Gilbert A. Dater High School (CPS) from 2012-2019. While teaching visual art at Walnut Hills, Mrs. Lloyd has taught Pro Media Design, Jr Art, Art X: Textiles, Art XXX: Sculpture and Ceramics 1. She currently teaches Jr Art, Art X: Textiles and Ceramics 1. Mrs. Lloyd encourages her students to use higher order thinking skills and critical thinking, and helps foster their creativity through self expression with each project.
