Elizabeth Knodle

Elizabeth Knodle joined the Walnut Hills High School Art Department in 2021. A proud CPS graduate, she attended both Walnut Hills and the School for Creative and Performing Arts. She is especially honored to teach where she once studied under her own art teacher, Mr. Wiley Ferguson.

Ms. Knodle holds a BFA in painting from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Her artistic practice has been enriched through studies with contemporary painters in Munich and Michigan, as well as through her work in local clay studios and involvement in the local arts community.

She holds a Master’s in Art Education and approaches the classroom as a working studio—one that emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and the development of each student’s unique voice while building a strong foundation in classic art techniques.
