College Credit Plus Scheduling Days

Hello Walnut Hills Families!

Did your student take CCP classes this summer or is planning to take classes online or on a college campus this fall?

CCP or College Credit Plus is (a state supported program) open to students in grades 7-12. Students must submit a Letter of Intent and application and meet the college criteria. Informational meetings are held yearly in January.

If your answer is yes, the Counseling Department would like you to save the date for our drop in scheduling days on August 3rd, 4th or 5th. Students who have taken or are signed up for CCP online or college campus classes will need to come to Walnut between 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. No appointment is necessary. This meeting is necessary to confirm CCP schedules and remove any classes from your Walnut schedule. Please bring your college course registration as proof that you are taking classes.

*This meeting does not apply to students taking CCP classes at Walnut with a Walnut teacher.

If you are out of town during this time, your student should email their school counselor for an appointment and send a copy of their CCP courses for the fall.

If you are not sure if your student has signed up for CCP speak to your student. If you have specific questions, please contact your student's school counselor.
